Hey everyone! I’m currently a senior who will be applying to 10+ colleges and be taking 5 IB classes (4 HL and 1 SL) and AP Stats. As you can see, my schedule is already pretty filled up. However, I want to be a neurologist and in college the neuroscience major is really chem intensive. I took chem my freshman year and that was it - i haven’t taken chem since and I’m nervous that I’ll be going into college chem blind, and fail. I want to do well and that’s why I want to take AP chem online to help prepare for that. I want to know, considering my current schedule, if this is worth taking. If I do, I would have to wake up earlier to take it in the morning (a zero period). I’m torn because I really need some chem exposure before I go to college cause chem 101 at Carolina is super hard. But I will already be so stressed with IB and college and school.
I want to know how much work Apex online AP chem is and if you actually gain anything from it - is it worth the extra stress and time?
