I'm a rising sophomore and I'm not sure which AP I should take, Chem or Euro. I'm already going to be taking AP Bio for sure, and I really want to get into neuroscience, but I like history too. The AP Chem teachers in my school are known for being great but difficult, and the Euro teacher's pretty good too, though not as hard.

I'd like to take AP Chem, but I feel like it might be too big of a course load with AP Bio considering that I've never taken an AP before. I'm pretty sure that taking AP Bio and Euro would be manageable, though.

AP Bio and AP Chem at the SAME TIME? That doesn’t sound fun. AP Euro is manageable along with Bio, considering I somehow survived taking APUSH and AP Bio at the same time (I really like bio but APUSH was awful!). If you like biology as it seems, it will be easier!

If I were in your position I would take whichever class I think I’d enjoy more because I’d have more fun studying (lol) and probably get better grades. Junior year, I’m taking either AP Bio or Chem but I’m waiting until next year when I take Chem to decide which class I enjoy more!

I’ve self-studied a bit of chemistry to see what it’s like, and so far I like it. If I could take AP Chemistry later, then I would, but I really don’t have any room in my schedule because of required classes.

I’m just scared that if I take both AP Bio and Chem, it’ll lower my GPA because it’s too much work.
