<p>This one could be done in pen or pencil. I think what they do is for real essays like on the pysch and gov test you have to use pen, but for more math based frq they let you use either.</p>

<p>I remember reading pencil or dark blue black pen on the packet, so no worries.</p>

<p>You can use a pencil. I used a pencil on AP Physics B FRQ's last year, and everything was fine. As a matter of fact. the entire class used a pencil for the FRQ.</p>
