I am at finishing soltuions and starting equlibrium can anyone tell me how i am? and what i should focus on. furthermore for the ap exam are we given basic monotomic or polyatomic atoms or do we have to memorize them?

I think you're using the Zumdahl book. Am I correct? If so, we've covered up to electrochem and a bit of nuclear chem and that would be Chap 17-ish, as opposed to your chapter 11-ish in the Zumdahl book? You DEFINITELY need to know equilibrium. And you have to memorize the polyatomics, aka NO3-, MnO4-, Cr2O7 2-, etc.

You need to memorize all the basic polyatomic ions. It's also important to know the solubility rules. Last year in Zuhmdahl we did Chapters 10 - 17 (1 - 9 were covered in a different book that we had first semester, so as far as content goes we covered 1- 17) and then part of 18 for Nuclear Chem.

i have zumdahl laying around, but i don't use it, i crash coursed in like 8 weeks so i used barrons, i finished nuclear chem. all that is left is solutions, equilibrium, and experimental chemistry...... by experimental do they mean labs?

NO3-, MnO4-, Cr2O7 2-,

In other words, it means ionic formulas. The PR book was the best prep to me .
