<p>Right now I am taking honors chem, and I talked to my teacher about self studying AP chem. He says that if I put in the work I should be able to do it, and I will definitely put in the work. However, I am not sure about the new test and what books to use to self study. Any specific books that you would recommend that I use for the new test? Also, I am a very cautious person and don't want to take the test unless I know that it can't be held against me. I read online that you only report AP scores yourself on your application, and since I would not have taken the class it would not be suspicious if I didn't put the score. Is this true?</p>
