AP Chem slip up...

Hey guys, I'm in my junior year right now, planning on majoring in an English-related department such as law, communications, etc.

Despite a straight-A sophomore year and a decent first semester, there's a definite chance that I will get a C in my ap chemistry class second semester of this year. I plan on taking the AP test and will probably be able to muster a 3 or a 4, although I heard that the score is not even relevant to the application process. Considering I'm taking 3 other AP's (Psych, US, Lang/Comp), will this quake my chances into getting into schools like Berkeley, UCLA, Cornell, or Brown greatly? ..Should I start setting my sights on UC's like SB,SD, etc?

Seeing how you’re going to be focusing in the English related fields i dont think they would care much for the science and math related classes. As long as you state that it’s not your strong suit, you may be fine. A C in any subject does look bad but they maybe accepting because that class has no effect in your major. Try to get that 4 in Chemistry though. Doing that will reduce the impact of that C. Good luck
