AP Chem student taking SATII?

<p>I got in AP Chem this year from last year's bio class. So I really have no chem background. Should I get a prep book exclusively for SATII or just study the AP material and go take the test? (I have a PR AP Chem prep book)</p>

<p>Also, I want to know when would be a good time to take this test: In May right before the AP exams or in June? (My AP classes don't meet anymore after AP exams)</p>

<p>Some suggestion for U.S. History prep book would be greatly appreciated as well.</p>

<p>If that's the case wait until after AP chem is done to take the SAT II. I think (and most will agree) that the SAT II is a joke compared to the AP exam, so if you prep well for AP you'll do well on the SAT II as well.</p>
