AP Chem v. AP Bio

My school offers limited science APs, but for the sake of my schedule, I would still like to take one. I originally was going to take AP Physics, but then I switched schools and am missing out on some info. That being said, I am trying to decide between AP Chem and AP Bio.

Which one is "easier"? I know they are both hard, but I can definitely handle the workload of an AP course. I took Honors Bio freshmen year (got a B...horrible teacher) and I took Honors Chem sophomore year (got an A).

Other AP courses I'm taking next year: Calc AB, English Lit, and Macro.

So....which one would YOU say is "easier" for people who have taken both, or, what is the difference between the two?

ive taken both. chem's ez pie compared with bio. bio = way too much memorization and i hate memorizing. so if you prefer memorizing go bio, otherwise go chem.

Bio - Memorization.
Chem - Applying math to concepts, less memorization than Bio

At my school, biology is easier, but that's only because the teacher is an idiot, no one tries in the class, so the test curves are generous, and we can get 5% extra credit.

On the AP exam though, I expect to get a 5 on chemistry and a 3 on bio. So I'd say chemistry is easier, for largely the same reasons as the above posters. Of course, if I were you, I'd take both.

Don't be fooled-there is lots of memorization in Chemistry as well.

in comparison to bio its nothing. Plus with chem you constantly reuse and apply formulas and constants that you are expected to memorize so overtime you remember them inherently.

bio and chem come pretty good for me i believe with with I know now i could 3's on both and if i study i could get higher. I took physics last year and failed.

wow at my school chem is considered to be loads harder than bio. idk... i hate bio though.. i hate my teacher.
