No it probably wasnt- check out the new york state regents requirements, theyre really pretty pathetic

Well, over here we have three different levels of chemistry:

Intro to Chem
Normal Chem
Accelerated Chem

I was only in normal. According to the school "accelerated" chemistry is vastly more difficult than normal. o.o

Well, first off, of course the school is going to say that it's supremely more difficult--when do schools NOT caution students about signing up for more than they can handle?

Secondly, I think the people on here that are saying that chem is soooooo easy clearly have good chem programs at their school. At my school, honors chem bears no semblance to ap chem in coursework level, difficulty, etc., and this year, the kids went into the test looking hopeless. Ap Chem students at my school would probably strongly disagree with the statement that ap chem is easy. Bio on the otherhand has a teacher that is retiring this year an who has no real desire to work anymore, and we still felt fine going into the test, and, let me tell you, I didn't even review Cliff's--I survived off of what I could remember for labs, discussion in class, and studying for last semester's final. If I would have actually reviewed, the test would have been RIDICULOUS. So, I'm pretty sure self-studying bio is the way to go here...the class is a waste of time.

For me ap physics was easier, especially with the curve.
