Can you take the AP Chem exam after just taking Honors Chem? Because my school doesn't offer an AP Chem course.

Honors is whatever your teacher wants it to be. AP is specific material. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I did this (for the same reason, there’s no AP Chem class at my school.) Honors Chem material was arguably the exact same as AP. There were a couple minor topics that I had to review in AP Prep books, but they didn’t take very long. I found the exam pretty easy. I would recommend this highly - IF you think you can pull off a 5, or at least a 4. If not, don’t waste your money & time. Make sure you get a prep book (or read through one), do a couple practice tests (maybe the free ones on CB, or at least the MC + FRQ on the course syllabus) just to make sure you aren’t missing any important knowledge.

Really honors chem at my school people say Honors Chem and Regular Chem are exactly the same because the teacher is just…easy. Just honors chem had more homework and covers a little bit more.

I say, it varies between teachers.
