AP Chem vs Leaving school early?

Hey guys, it's scheduling season yet again and I am looking for some input on what to do. Here's what the plan is so far:

1-AP Physics
(The teacher combines C and B, I believe. I'm not afraid of this course - I have the same teacher for honors this year and he is good at what he does and is generous with grades)

2-AP Gov
3-AP Lit (I'm not too sure if I want to take this one, though)
4-AP Spanish (this class will be really easy)
5-AP Calc BC (I'm not looking forward to this, but it's necessary)
6-Honors Orchestra
7-Either leave school early or AP Chem

What do you guys think (about the chem thing)? I'm going to be a senior, btw. Thanks in advance

Do you like chem? If you do, then take it.

However, since it’s your senior year, you might want to do less stuff.

Well, I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it. And, seriously? I thought seniors usually pile up on classes, especially APs. Well, at least that’s how it usually is at my school. Thanks for your input!

Okay, maybe you should ignore the second half of my advice.

If you think that you will be able to handle the workload, then by all means do it. I personally don’t find chemistry hard so I would take it.

Are you planning to take Chemistry in college? My son took AP Chemistry in high school, took Chem I fall semester and got an A, is now taking Chem II and Physics I this semester and really wishes he had taken AP Physics in high school. He didn’t really have time because he had put off the required Consumer Ed class until senior year. So I would say it depends on what you want to major in in college, but if you have to take college chemistry, then you should take it.

No, I don’t plan on taking Chemistry in college. Thanks for the advice
