AP chem!

I'm in desperate need of help. I'm taking AP chem at my school, but it's am awful experience. The teacher doesn't teach. Can I get some advice on how to pass chem on my own since a 1 is inevitable without independently studying?

And what is the best review book?

Scoring a 1 doesn’t have to be an inevitability. Buy a review book or two and take advantage of your textbook (assuming you have one). If it doesn’t seem helpful, you could look at renting/buying another. We use Chemistry and Chemical Reactivity 7th edition. But that probably isn’t necessary. As long as you get a review book or two, and study a lot, you should be fine.

If you are looking to practice a lot, the College Board publishes FRQs from every exam. So take advantage of that, and practice practice practice. Personally, I have a great teacher and a knack for Chemistry.

But best of luck to you. I hope all goes well.
