How was it, everybody?

a breeze, easy as hell. i always thought that i would do worse on ap chem than ap physics, since physics is my strong area. though i am not sure about physics, i am pretty certain that i have a 5 on AP chem

I thought it was the single most difficult test I've taken in my entire life. This probably has to do with my lack of studying and memorization, but nonetheless, I just didn't know how to do about half the test. My only comfort is that my school doesn't give credit for any score, so nothing lost.

I thought it wasn't that bad, and I'm sure it would've been extremely easy for me if I hadn't self studied (and taken the class instead). I think I did alright though.

i took the class all year, MY TEACHER COULDNT TEACH... they just hired her cuz they needed some1, so, we all got 1s. I tried self-studying ALL of it outta the cliffs book in like 2 days, lol. The multiple choice was all like, Medium level. I narrowed alot down, but then i couldnt choose between the 2 left :-/. i thought the free responses were actually pretty easy tho.

it was pretty straightforward for the most part, besides stupid mistakes on the free response

The MC killed me. The free response was easy. Anyone know how much of the mc i need to get right for a 5, assuming that I got like 50/55percent for FR? Im guessing around 20-25 wrong on mc. Only omitted 2...

I'll just copy my other post...

I thought it was AMAZINGLY more easy then I expected!

Totally expect at least a 3-4 :)! 5 would be awesome, haha... some of the MC were on stuff I'd forgotten and then I guessed a bit, but the FR was pretty good. Which questions did you guys do? I did #3 (WHICH WAS SO EASY, OMG.) and #7 (which was pretty easy too, except I'd forgotten the AXE thing, lmao)

The lab question was kinda blerg, but not impossible...

FR is a joke!!!!!!!!!!! ridiculously easy!!!!!!!

FR was very enjoyable...I made some errors on the bonding one even though thats the easiest one lol. I think mc was ok. So hopefully a five but maybe a four.

MC was not easy!! I skipped 7!
Did anyone do # 2, 8 in FR? (#8 was strangely too easy..maybe there's a trick)

no i did number 2 and 8, and there was no trick lol

IM me to chat about it xonicole143ox. of course abiding by the CB rules..

or you can try AIM chat "apchem"

AgCl + Cl- -> AgCl2-? WHAT IS THIS :(

yea the #8 was too easy.

and the reaction prediction, im calling a 15/15 already. we used these purple study prep books and they were like 20x harder than this test. it was well worth the studying. who's in organic chem next year !!

and anonymous youre not supposed to talk about the problems ! (but that is a lewis acid/base reaction !) you should have just skipped that one the others were joke easy.

7 is very easy too!!!!!!! actually, no FR is very hard!!!!!!!!!!

Free response: ~95%
Multiple choice: ~85%
Easy as expected.

wow! everyone did soooo well!. Its gonna mess up the curve but I think

I though it was easy too. I think I missed around 10-15 on the M/C. I only skipped the ones that I wasn't 100% sure on. Skipped 6 and I am leaving a generous amount open for the many silly mistakes I would have made.
First two questions~really easy. So was the reactions. I am confident I atleast got a 12/15 (too much overconfidence hurts)
The lab question was easy but I took a bit too much time on one part so had to hurry up to complete the rest.
I though #6 was the hardest out of all of them. But it was doable
Also on #7, two of the structures were a bit confusing.

Expecting a 5 as I got 5 on the PR tests and also the 99 released exam but as everyone thought it was easy, I will be happy with a four. CC is a place for smarter kids, so lets hope that the average and the less than average ones screwed up bad!
