like 50 or something...

like...15 maybe?

First semester was larger with two full periods, so about 50 kids.
Second semester is two smaller periods, so maybe 5 or so dropped it.

My school has one period of about 20. More will take it next year (many of which imo don't have the work ethic for it).

We had 23 this year, not sure about next year, I would say at least 15.

we have about 80 students taking AP Chem!
But, take into consideration: our school has open curriculum, so anyone who wants to take a class can as long as they get a teacher recommendation

like 45... half get 5s

I think around 10-15, all in one period for next year. Due to scheduling conflicts however, I'm gonna be taking the class during my teachers prep period so it's just gonna be me and the teacher. =D

75 and i think theres like a 94% passing rate pretty good

how would it help, if the problem is lack of interest? all it'd prove is other schools have motivated students. if you want to keep AP chemistry around, you should get a ton of people at your school to sign a petition. (people are usually apathetic and willing even if they don't actually want to take the class. all it takes is their signature.)

12 this year (including me), a good 20+ for next year

haha. this is sooo funny. i'm a freshman in college. but i took ap chem last year. When ap test came around, there wasn't enough room to fit all the kids in the library, so we had to take the test in the gym. There were approximately 200 students taking ap chemistry last year at my school. Yeah freeken competition is crazy. i graduated with 4.3 gpa and was ranked 40th out of 700. lol didn't make the top 4. i was 5th percent. top 4 percent is pretty important i hear. it's called ELC. anywho, way too many people took ap chem in my school.

hmm i think 200ish ppl sign up in my school. 60 get in each year. 2 classes. Its one of the wanted classes.

96...i think the passing rate is like 96% and half get 5s

12 kids including me

There are 35 kids in my actual class. It's mostly composed of morons who took it just to look smart, who are now freaking out and wondering why the hell they signed up for it.

Awww it's such a horrible class.

I don't take AP Chem, but we have two classes.

We had fourteen I think last year, but this year in AP Bio we only have eight and in AP calc there are only four(!). So what your school is doing is BS, I think.

We have two classes of ~30.

We have four classes of around 25 people, don't know about next year.....
