Since College Board has changed the format of the free response questions...is the
Princeton Review 2006-2007 still adequate for learning the theory questions? I have the 2009 Barrons but I feel like Barrons is superfluous n PR is more concise.

Can sum1 plz help? and which book out there is best for AP Chem?

princeton is good, but you should probably get the new edition, b/c 2006-07 is still the old format…

Nah, the only thing that changed is the reactions part I think. I have the 2006-2007 as well. We’ve done a bunch of MC questions in class and those are the same. I don’t really use PR for free response questions though…we just use ones from CollegeBoard and just old ones my teacher has. The only thing that is different is reactions.

Instead of getting to select 5 out of 8 or something like that, you now get 3 reactions and you have to do all 3 (no picking) and there’s a random question after each reaction. So that’s really the only part that’s different.

I think the review section is really good. I’ve been using it all year in AP Chem and it has helped me SO much on my tests, which are old AP MC and FR questions.
