AP Chemistry and Dartmouth

I'm in a summer Pre-AP Chemistry course and it's been awhile and I've concluded that AP Chem is too challenging for me since my math skills aren't that good. Will it hurt my chances to get into Dartmouth, or any highly selective school if I took Honors Chemistry over AP Chemistry? And, I don't know if this matters, but I go to a under-performing school.

So, should I stick with AP Chemistry and get tutoring or drop AP and take Honors Chemistry?

bump? :l Someone? This is urgent.

You should take the class that you will do the best in. Even though Dartmouth would like to see you take the most challenging classes, they want you to succeed. It’s better to get an A in honors over a C in an AP Class. Admissions at every school look at you as a whole, and the classes you take is just one factor towards your acceptance.
