Okay so im taking the AP chem exam in may and the SAT chemistry test in june. I'm wondering if i could use one study book for both test? I'm using the Princeton review book. Are both test similar in concepts? If i study well for the AP chem exam, do i need to buy another book for the SAT test and study that. Or will one book suffice for both exams?
Thanks!

The concepts are similar and the materials are harder for the AP, however, the test format is very different. It is fine to use the same book for study, but you may want to see at least a sample subject test for the format and to time your pace.

Everyone says AP chem is harder than SAT chem. I did two sample AP chem and they’re both good. But I did one sample (Barron) SAT chem and got 650. :(

Yeah, I agree. The concepts are similar. If you have taken AP chem or the exam itself before, you will definitely have the skills to handle the SAT chem test. Some people have told me that they pull questions from the AP exam onto the SAT subject test. I don’t know if this is entirely true.

Barron’s is much harder than the real thing. It really preps you well!
