AP Chemistry > AP Biology

Who else agrees that Chemistry is MUCH more exciting than Biology?

Nope... Though I've taken AP Biology but Chemistry honors...

I find living things and how they interact far more fascinating.

ewww not me. i know so many people would beg to differ but chem is so much about memorizing chemical compositions and such and bio can be applied so much more easily. every person i've ever said that to says its the exact opposite.

ME!!! I took AP chemistry last year and it was just amazing. I don't think I actually had to memorize that much (or anything at all). The materials were easy to learn and I had a great teacher. I am taking Bio AP this year and it has been memorizing the textbook so far.

No one....

AGREE.
so ****ing much.

i'm actually considering dropping AP Bio this year bc my teacher is just so crappy, but unfortunately that's not really an option. ):

Nope, Bio is far more interesting than chemistry, both as a class and in its concepts.

AP Physics is better than both :)

Ugh, physics.

I haven't taken AP Bio yet, but it can't possibly have as many cool explosions as Chem.

is ap biology really a "science" though? while it is useful in application, it seems that it is mostly memorization. i still find it more interesting than chem and physics.

i HATE physics..

physics > biology > chemistry.

Biology > Physics > Chemistry :D

Once again, both conceptually and in my class-experience (I can see why a lot of people here might dislike bio though, given the nature of the AP test that the class was likely trying to prepare you for)

Lol, and science is an epistemology, with biology one of its fruits, so of course it's a science (it adheres to science's requirements), lol.

The post reminded me of this comic, though, and the cephalopod reminded me of Myers. Off to Pharyngula!

^
Haha! That's funny!

AP Calc (math is a science too! :D)>AP Physics>AP Bio>AP Chem>AP Stats>AP Computer Science>APES

^^^ That's my favorite xkcd of all time.

I haven't taken any of the AP sciences yet.

But everyone who knows me knows how much I hate bio.

Anything's above bio. Bio's full of bs and anything other is obviously more made of win.

Chem > bio in every sense of the word and definition as far as the term "PWNAGE" is DEFINED.

GG.

But generally, for the sciences:

Physics > chem >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> bio.

The fact that bio is even remotely close to the other two is laughable in itself, total worth of epic lulz.

The XKCD is right on the money. That being said, in terms of traditional sciences, it definitely has to be AP Physics, followed by AP Chemistry, followed by AP Biology.

Biology is such a boring science. I wish our school offered AP Chemistry or AP Physics, but sadly, it does not.

AP Physics C >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chemistry >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Biology
