Hello,
Im taking the AP Chem exam on May 2nd.
Im doing all free responses from the previous exams right now and i want to know if i should continue doing this..
( i've done 2010, 2009 and 2008, including form Bs)
If you did the same thing like im doing i want to ask you,
did it really help you a lot on the actual exam???
if it did, then i'll probably do all of them, 2007,2006....2003.
if it didnt really help, what should i be doing now? i have like one week left!!
thank you alot!

bump… I’m curious as well

I’m taking it this year as well.

In my opinion, there’s no better way to prepare for the Open Ended than by taking previously administered Open Ended tests.

yeah i quit reading the princeton review,…
(ill just go over quickly later)
now im getting more problems right on free response section…

When I prepped for it last year I just used released tests. I never opened an AP prep book and I got my 5 easily enough.

does anyone know where i can find the previous multiple choices?
i already got the 2008 and 2002 ones from my teacher, but i can’t find any of other years …

^As far as I know 08, 02, and 99(or maybe it was 98) are the only three that have been released.

Free response questions are released every year, but MC are only released every few years.

oh okayy
i guess ill just do the practice tests from barron’s or princeton

There is also a 1994 Full AP Chem Exam for free on AP Central (along with the 1999 one).

I agree with this; the only effective way to prepare for any AP Exam is to do some of the free response/mc questions from old exams. Review books do help, but not nearly as much as this! :)
