AP Chemistry FRQs

The AP Chem test is only 16 days away and I, for one, am not ready. My teacher has been really bad this year and we haven't even finished electrochemistry, organic chemistry and acids & bases. I also blame myself for feeling this way because I didn't read my book as much as I should have.

I have a feeling I'll do fine on the multiple choice portion. But, I'm not so sure about the FRQ section.

What are the main concepts that have come up on the past few AP Chem FRQs? What topics should I really focus on in order to get a 5? Also, does anyone have anything that can help me learn everything fairly quickly?

Thanks!

There’s almost always a FRQ on electrochem, rate laws, and molecular forces.

Acid/base chemistry is EXTREMELY important if you are serious about getting a 5. You should definitely study this. The first FRQ is always a K question of some sort. Generally it is Ka or Kb and acid/base/equilibrium/titrations, but last year it was Ksp/solubility.
There is generally one electrochem question and one non-calc periodic trends question. Question 4 asks for 3 net ionic reactions, so make sure to practice those.
GOOD LUCK!

i am SO scared for this test…its the only one that i think i’m going to actually hyperventilate over lol
any tips on how to study?? thanks in advance :)
