AP Chemistry Prep Books

Hello everyone!

It's finally summer!

Okay, I want to self-study AP Chemistry over the summer so that I'm fully prepared for the upcoming school year. Science is honestly my weakest point—got a bad grade in AP Bio, never want to go through that again...it was brutal.

I was wondering what are some of the best prep books for AP chemistry.
It said on our summer packet that its recommended to buy the 5 steps to a 5 in AP Chemistry book and the ARCO Review Book-AP Chemistry.
Are those any good?

While you are at it, can you guys also tell me prep books you've actually used and liked for these classes:
AP English
AP US History

Thank you! :D

Bump…anyone?

You should use MIT’s OpenCourseWare for self studying chemistry in conjunction with Five Steps to a Five.

I used Crash Course for APUSH (Amsco was used in class). My teacher has a pdf of Amsco on his website. If you want it, let me know.

AP Lang I didn’t have to study for with a prep book.
