AP Chemistry Questions

Hi.

So, I have submitted my class choices for my Junior year and I had a question or two regarding what I should expect and some others.

Okay, as someone who doesn’t necessarily have a background with Chemistry, how can I prepare myself for this class? Should I study over the Summer? If so, what resources (online preferably) can I use?

How important is math in Chemistry? If so, what specific kind of math is important? Algebra, Calculus, etc.

Thanks!
P.S: If this is in the wrong section on the forum please let me know the proper section  Thank you!

Yes, you should study it over the summer. AP Review books (Barrons, in particular, I believe) are good places to start. Chemistry Crash Course on youtube is also a GREAT intro resource. Same with Khanacademy.

Math isn’t too intensive, it’s mostly algebra.

Thank you very much! Also, nice name!
