AP Chemistry questions

Hi I'm self-studying the test and have a few questions...

1: In the free-response portion, how do we show that we haven't done intermediate rounding without violating significant figure conventions?

2: To how many places to the right of the decimal should we use when using atomic masses? Like, 1.008 or 1.01 for hydrogen?

While I cannot comment on the exact policies of AP Exam, I can give you the general sig fig rules:

Significant figures only matter for the final number.

Use the most accurate numbers possible unless told to do otherwise. Thus, use 1.008 unless told to use 1.01.
