In this post state what scores you guys got and then specifically how well you thought you did on the test. Also stuff like leaving FRQ's blank..

I got a 4 and I left parts of a few FRQ's blank, thought I did decent on the MC.

I got a 4 and I left parts of a few FRQ's blank, thought I did decent on the MC.

I got a 5. Answered everything. Pretty confident about MC, not so confident about FR.

I got a 5. Thought I did well on mc but horribly on free response. So surprised I got a 5 lol

I got a 5 and thought it was maybe a 6-8/10 in difficulty. It was definitely easier than the USNCO state level exams though.

i got a 5. i was actually very surprised considering i thought the FRQs were HORRIBLE…i totally made up a lot of the answers. The multiple choice saved me though :D

I got a 5. I consistently got the best grades in class and was pretty confident with the multiple choice, but the free responses still challenged me. I finished the multiple choice with about 20 minutes left, yet I had to skip a few parts in the free response to finish on time. However, once I found out that I got an 800 on the SAT II Chemistry exam, I was reassured about my performance on the AP exam.

I got a 5. It wasn’t too bad, I left the free response half an hour early since I had psych in the afternoon and had to eat lunch :P

I got a 5. I answered all of the questions (MC and FRQ) but I’m guessing I screwed up the equilibrium problem a bit because I always do. I’m sure I messed up other stuff too, but I forget.

Got a four, but after leaving the exam, I was certain I had failed it with a two or three. The multiple choice was easy and I’m entirely certain that it is the reason I got a four. With that said, the FRQs were awful for me. Several topics specified were not covered in my class, and I ended up leaving some blank. However, I got the same score I did on my in-class practice exam. Also, it was my teacher’s first year teaching AP Chem. I’m very proud of how well she did. :)

@Coconutso that’s great! I don’t have my score yet but I also bombed the FRQs but I felt somewhat confident on the multiple choice even though I had to bubble in like 10 of them randomly because I ran out of time, so hopefully I get a 3 at least.

5

Finished all but 1 of the FRQs, pretty sure I got them mostly right. No problems with MC. AP Chem was by far my best class, so I was positive I was going to do well. Now Spanish on the other hand…shudders

I got a 5. I was very confident about the multiple choice - I found the FRQ much more difficult and was confident about my answers for 4/6 of them and the equilibrium question, except for the last sub-question. Overall I thought the FRQ were much more difficult than past tests’ but the multiple choice were on the same level.

I got a 5 on the form B. The MC was relatively easy. The FRQ question on acids/bases was a bit hard, but otherwise it was overall about the same in difficulty (slightly harder than MC).

I got a 5.

Was mildly surprised. A few other kids who were slated for a 5 got fours so I’m pleased with it.

Thought the MC was pretty straightforward… botched FRQ #1 but completely dominated the others ^_^;

Congrats to all those who got 5’s!

I don’t know my score yet, but I did not like the FRQ.

5
Expected this.

I got a 5. Expected a 4-5.
I was scared because I thought personally out a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most difficult,
The AP test ranked a 6 while the local USNCO test ranked a 5, national test being an 8. I answered every question, but for some of the free response, I had to guess. For example, the gas laws question where you had to guess the hydrocarbon. I think I guessed right and put c3h8. MC I hated. Simply because of the lack of calculators. I completely forgot about that rule and did all my practice tests with a calculator, finishing really fast. On the real test, I had to go back 3 times and make sure my work was all correct :(

are there anyone who would volunteer to check my ap scores. I am a international student so i don’t have an access currently, but i can’t wait for it any longer. if you can, please contact me on facebook (Kolo Chow) or email chowshutian@hotmail.com (i am not sure if you can view it but it is a hotmail)

Got a 5. Came out of the test expecting a borderline 4/5 (I studied my ass off).

I thought the MC was pretty good (not easy, since easy wouldn’t require any actual critical thinking). However, I only answered the first 3 questions and various parts of the fourth, fifth, and sixth question. I got the majority of those various parts I answered wrong (like drawing the diagrams and the reason why one compound floated and the other sank).
