How accurate is the PR practice tests in their AP Chemistry book. I thought the 2nd test was really easy (MC: 61 correct, 11 wrong, 3 omitted; FRQ: 10/10, 10/10, 14/15, 10/10, 5/8, 7/8; Raw Score: 136) and I got an easy 5. The first PR test I barely got a 5 (MC: 55 correct, 20 wrong; FRQ: 8/10, 10/10, 9/15, 7/10, 3/8, 4/8; Raw Score: 108.5).

Do you think it's accurate & my studying has paid off? Or is it inaccurate and I should study some more tomorrow?

Thanks in advance for your opinion.

BTW, I'm not trying to brag or anything...I'm just trying to get an honest opinion on whether the tests are easier for me b/c I've been studying like crazy for the past month...or just b/c they are just plain old easy.

Lol, I don't particularly care for PRs tests, but with those scores I think you'll be fine (if anything, PR's a little harder)...you might wanna do a quick review tomorrow, but it's clear that you are definitely ready for Wednesday's exam.

Alright...I'll start to relax now - wow...that word hasn't been in my vocabulary for....oh...about 5 weeks. sighs

haha...yeah the PR tests are pretty difficult, although after studying the book they seem a little easier b/c the tests test for facts specifically outlined in the book.

If only my practice scores didn't suck in comparision to yours...i should probably try this "studying" thing everyone is talking about lol.

That's really true...I was workign on the reactions FRQ...I noticed it was all from the chapter dealing with reactions (some were even the same reactions).

btw, this is the only AP exam I'm taking - I have no excuse but to do well (my school is retarded - only 1 AP junior year).

lol I see...chem is my only one this week (just had US and calc last week) so I should be studying, too. I only need to actually study solubility rules, descriptive stuff...the rest is just a review...I think I'll pull a 3.

anyway, good luck scareya.

thanks....solubility rules really help when it comes down to writing the reactions - you can probably get at least one full one correct from knowing solubility rules

yeah...well i figure if i know solubility rules it'll help me with 1-2, and 1-2 will be redox, and 1 or so will be combustion so that's almost 5 right there :)...I think I'm gonna go check some old FRQ's out now.

If you want any old MC or FRQs...I have them all...IM me...and I'll send you it.
