To those that got a 5, did any of you feel like you did horribly on the MC section but fairly well on the FR section? Im trying to predict my score and I dont want to pay $8 to find out that I got a 2 or a 3. I found the FR section to be quite easy, only about 2-3sub qs I was unsure of and one reaction q. But on the MC section I didn't feel confident on any of the questions not to mention I almost ran out of time. I also felt like I was guessing or going with my instinct half the time. Did any of you feel the same way as I did but still managed a 5?
thanks.

I felt EXACTLY the same way you did. the fre response was a breeze and there were very few questions I was unsure of. the reactions were easier than all the practice reactions and because you could choose which question to answer, I think I got most of the points on all the questions. however the MC I felt like I was guessing on a bunch of them closer to the end. I only had 1 or 2 minutes left at the end and I didn;t check over much, but I called the other day and I got a 5, woo! they weight the FR much more than the MC I'm pretty sure.

i got a 5...but I didn't feel the same way as you on the test...before I got my score I actually thought i screwed up on BOTH sections of the test...i nearly ran out of time in the mc's which gave me no chance to check my answers...and I was forced to choose between some of my weakest areas in the frq's...

Got a 5 even though on most of my practice AP tests in class, I was getting 4's with occasional borderline 5's. I found the actual AP to be a LOT easier than the old practice ones we took. Multiple choice was easier than practice but I still had some difficulty.. guessed on a few but mostly I knew what to do. FR was superrr easy, I couldn't even believe some of the questions. I was pretty sure I had gotten a 5 by the end of the test, but due to past practice tests, I was nervous about a 4.

Luckily, I ended it for myself and just called :).

I knew I got a 5 after buying the 2002 test and I did.

i got 4's on my own practice tests, 5's on the mock ap exam (real cb test), and then a 5 on the real one. the MC was a LOT easier than other prac tests and the FR = my chem teacher said it was the easiest he's ever seen.

sucks for the future ap chem students - they dont get choices for essays or reactions.

I didn't find the MC section particularly challenging. There were 2 or 3 questions I believe I left blank, though.

x3rose - are you serious? That sucks!

I feel the same way. The FR was way too easy. Some of the questions on there were ridiculously easy.

However, the MC was relatively hard.

Can't wait to recieve my score!
