AP chinese help!!

Hi, guys~
I have some questions regarding the AP chinese essay part.
Q1: Does the pinyin tsystem has a auto-detecting function?
For example: Can I type "su d b" to get (速度比), or do i have to fully type su du bi to get (速度比) ?
Q2: what is an appropiate length for a essay in the writing section? 100words? 200 words?
Q3: Any sites/ tips for the exam?

Any help will be appreciated~~! thanks in advance

Hard to say.

For the first, I believe that it is with auto-detect, though I am also taking it for the first time tomorrow and I cannot say for certain. From what I have heard, it is very confusing the first time you use it, but if you’re lucky, you get used to it after a few minutes.

For the second, there is no essay portion, just a story narration and email response portion. As long as your response covers all the questions and topics, you should be fine. Length doesn’t matter, though it may help set a good first impression.

Try the practice exam released online at [AP Central - 2007 AP Chinese Language and Culture Released Exam: Multiple-Choice Questions](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>AP Chemistry Past Exam Questions – AP Central | College Board)

Hope it helps. Good luck!
