Next year would be the first year that College Board offers AP Chinese & AP Japanese. I heard that it is going to be online testing, but hava no idea about the contents. (well, besides some general ideas like: the Chinese/ Japanese culture, the Geography, the writing... etc, etc -.-""

Does anybody know if there is any books or source that might help?

I read on collegeboard that the AP Chinese or Japanese should be taken after two or three years of regular Chinese or Japanese leading up that level. Learning an Asian language to AP level may be difficult, but since is the first year, no one really knows. How much do you know so far?

I can speak, read and write in Chinese fluently and had 5 years of Japanese Study. I passed the level 2 NIhongo Noryoku Shiken, and I'm trying to pass the 1st this year.
Do you plan to take the AP CHinese too?

kennyk616:
it's probably not too helpful since you ARE taiwanese... but I'll give it a try anyways, since it doesn't hurt, and it would be quite easy for fluent Chinese users.

fabrizio:
Chinese is actually my first language, and it helped me a lot when I learned Jp. :)
Is Kanji Kentei the same as Noryoku Shiken?

I think I haven't mention it yet.
I'm a permanent resident in the US coming from Argentina, a South American Country. But both my parents are Taiwanese.
Does anybody has any idea how would the college count my racial-ethnical-national identity?
