AP class in place of 3rd yr of language and regular math

Currently I'm a sophomore taking my second year of spanish with other strong classes (Adv. Cl English, Adv. Int. Alg., Honors Chem, AP Psychology, and ROTC 3-4). My grades for the first semester of this year were semi decent with a 3.66 GPA weighted. I do extra curriculars, a fair amount, and have a leadership position in ROTC.

Anyways, next year for my junior year, I plan to take:
AP English Lang. Composition
AP Biology
AP U.S. Hist
AP Environmental Science
Pre Cal
ROTC 5-6 (I'm going to have a higher leadership role)

Right now, I'm looking at the mid level UC colleges like Irvine, Davis, and Santa Barbara. My cumulative GPA is a 3.5 right now, since I screwed up my freshman year. But I do expect it to improve from this semester and the next couple years.

There are 3 questions I have:

Are my grades right now okay?

Will taking an AP class in place of a third year of language affect me negatively, even if I do well in the class?

Will taking regular Pre Calculus affect me negatively?

i don’t know about the math
but i dropped Japanese in favor of AP Psych, and believe it was among the best decisions i have ever made…

i hated japanese, and did something i love with psych…plus, the college credit is fabulous…!!!
i say go for it…all those schools will be fine with your choice!

How many years of Japanese did you have before you dropped?

two years in japanese
