<p>I have block at my high school, but it works differently with AP. Our APs are the whole year long. We meet everyday for the first two terms (schedule consists of 4 classes a day for an hour and a half each). The last 2 terms ( last semester) we meet every other day and basically review for the AP test and finish off any other material. The downside of this is that we can’t manage to take many AP classes in a year. Fitting even 4 AP classes is difficult with the state gym requirement and other graduation requirements. This does help test scores, though. Normal classes are either every other day for the entire year or everyday for 1 semester, and then a new class the last semester.</p>
