AP Classes as a senior

I'm starting scheduling for my senior year next week. I'm wondering how do I know if the amount of AP classes I take is enough to boost my college applications? I took 3 this year (Lang, Us History, and Psych) and that was almost to the point of over kill.
What do you all recommend when it comes to these classes? I want to succeed but I don't want to over do it.

Thank you :)

What schools are you looking at, what is your intended major and what APs are you considering taking?

I am looking at some in state schools. West Virginia University, Marshall University, and West Virginia Wesleyan College to major in psychology. I’m looking into taking AP Statistics and US Government.

You should be fine, none of those schools are super/crazy competitive and both of those APs are known for being reasonable. You should also consider AP Lit, if you did not find AP Lang too hard, I have heard that it too is very reasonable.

I will look into it. Thank you so much for the pointers.

I would rather you take AP calc AB/BC instead of AP lit. Two English AP’s seem lop-sided with no math (unless school doesn’t offer).

If you want to go to WVU don’t bother with APs, just don’t flunk your classes and you should be fine.

I was unable to take the prerequisite for AP Calc AB (what my school offers) so that sadly isn’t an option, but as previously mentioned I am more than likely taking AP Statistics.

Thank you for the tip about WVU. I know very little about their academics so any info is a huge help :)
