Yay time for AP testing! Well, I'd be a lot happier if I wasn't dumb enough to swamp myself with five AP classes...

Anyway, I've heard both side's arguments regarding using AP credits to skip Intro classes. One side told me if I use my AP credits, I'll be able to go through my requirements quicker and not have take as much summer classes, etc.

But on the other hand, my upperclassmen friends warned me, telling me that skipping classes isn't such a good idea since AP classes in highschool barely cover even the basic classes in UCLA. So if I use my AP Calc AB credits to skip to the BC class, then I'll just be screwing myself over.

So would skipping classes with AP credits be a good idea?

Also, do AP scores for Senior year really impact anything outside of using good scores for college credit? Like scholarships, etc?

Thank you!
