AP classes' explanation

I wanted to know what are your opinions on different AP classes! (For example, AP Biology: lot to memorize, but it's not time consuming/ AP US History: lots of reading and essays, no visual aspect, very time consuming)

Here are the APs available at my school:
AP Art History
AP Biology-LAB
AP Calculus AB
AP Chemistry-LAB
AP English Language and Composition
AP English Literature and Composition
AP Environmental Science
AP European History
AP Macroeconomics (Semester only)
AP Microeconomics (Semester only)
AP Physics B-LAB
AP Psychology (Semester only)
AP Statistics
AP U.S. Government and Politics
AP U.S. History
AP World History

What do you guys think?
(If you need some info, I'm VERY into bio and math)

Please, any information would be helpful!

Your best answer will come from your school. AP classes are not standardized, only the tests are. For example, at my school, AP Enviro was known as relatively easy, but there was a discussion on the forums the other day about how AP enviro was extremely difficult at their school.

History you can expect to be very time consuming. Gov/Politics is very easy of you watch news/follow politics, math is up to whether you get it or not, and Science is certainly doable, but how much you enjoy it comes to personal interest.

Thank you guys!!

Depends on the teacher, also how many APs do you want to take and do you have any career goals?

I want to major in pre-med, really like any classes that uses visual aspects (such as labs, images, news, etc,) and I’m pretty good at math. I want to take about 4 APs during my senior year.

So we have the same goals and are in the same grade, this makes my life much easier… Also on a side not they key is playing to your interests/strengths yet also remaining balanced and well-rounded.

Take AP Bio or AP Chem (which ever has the better teacher/you find more interesting)

Take AP Calc

If you think you can handle it take a second AP science, if not take any AP social studies to make yourself more well-rounded (pick based on the quality of the teachers and what interests you)

Take AP English (Lang if you have not taken it yet, Lit if you have), English is always useful

P.S. This is coming from somebody who will be taking AP Bio, AP Calc, AP European History and AP Lit next year.

Thank you so much!
I’m actually taking AP Bio, AP US History, and AP Eng Lang during my junior year.
I couldn’t decide between taking AP Chem or Phy, because I took Honors Chemistry during my sophomore year, but I think you’re right!

Thanks!
