Hey! I just wanted to know, as a California resident, how hard is it to get into UCLA, UCB, UCSD if i've only taken 3 AP classes and one honors class so far? (im a junior right now.) im planning on taking community college classes during the summer, and 3-4 AP classes during senior year. i know that MANY factors contribute to the admissions process, but it discourages me when i see so many people at my school take 5-6 AP classes, and it seems like i don't have a chance. does anyone have any experience, or knowledge of how huge AP classes are as a factor in UC admissions?

Just do well in your AP classes...the other people with like 6, more than likely...are failing, or wasting their life on non-fun things.

ap's dont matter

all about your essays

I know that ucsd doesn't give any additional credit for taking an ap class other than the extra grade point it gives.

hello88..if you noticed this year, many top applicants got rejected. It was the essay. Besides, there is a cap on how far the GPA can go up so why take more than needed. Just work on your EC's and essay. 5-6 AP are overkill.
