AP Classes for Junior Year

I just started my junior year and I’m planning on majoring in engineering or computer science in college. I was thinking of changing my schedule a little bit. Currently, my schedule is:

Honors Precalculus
Health/Public Speaking
AP Chemistry
AP Spanish Language
AP US History
AP English Literature
Honors Physics

I want to switch from Honors Physics to AP Physics 1, but to make this change, I would have to drop AP English (I go to a small school, so there are a lot of scheduling conflicts). Is that worth it?
I was thinking of taking AP Statistics instead of AP Spanish Language. Would that be a good switch? I’m better at math than I am at languages anyways.

On top of this, I will also be studying a lot for the SATs, devoting time to various clubs and participating in varsity sports year round. Will I have time for this course load? Is taking AP Chem, AP Stats and AP Physics in the same year impossible?

dunno man, depends on your school district you’ve taken honors classes before if they dont have that much homework then AP’s shouldn’t be too much worse, and I think it’d be worth it to drop AP english literature julassnior year to take AP physics 1 IF you will take AP english senior year because it would look really bad to not have a single AP English class. And drop AP spanish for AP stats you have another math class on your resume and its probably an easier class. I think if you should drop any class it be APUSH too much extra stress i think you’d be just fine with pre calc honors AP Stats, Chem AP, and Physics AP

=> yes, as long as you can take Honors English along with Ap Physics 1.

=> no, because AP Spanish is a '“core” AP + Level 4 in a foreign language is strongly recommended for top colleges, whereas AP Stats is an “AP lite” and is not a requirement, just a complement.

I agree with @MYOS1634 ; switch Honors Physics for AP Physics 1 and AP Lit for Honors English, but don’t switch AP Spanish for AP Stats.

Personally, I would avoid taking two sciences like Chemistry and Physics in the same year. However, if you are already taking physics you might as well go all out and opt for the AP Physics. If you can actually handle a AP language class you should stick to it. Language classes are important for any majors.
