AP Classes? Freaking out, help

Hello! I am currently a sophomore in high school and I am freaking out about my future. I really aiming to get into a good college, however, I have no idea what looks good/bad on my transcript. Here's the classes I took, am taking and will take:

Freshmen year:
Honors English
Honors Bio
Honors Global
Algebra (regular class)

Sophomore year:
Honors English
Earth Science (regular class, I was suppose to go into chemistry, but they dropped me to earth science regents but I have no taken geometry previously)
AP World
Geometry (regular class)

Junior year:
AP English
Chemistry (regular class)
AP US
Trig (regular class)

Senior year:
AP Lit (maybe)
AP Bio
AP Gov
Pre-calc (regular class)

So here are my questions and concerns:
Is 4-5 AP classes throughout high school too little? I haven't decided if I want to take AP Gov and AP Lit in my senior year.
Is it better to take an AP class and get a not so good score on the exam or to just stay in an honors class?
I really, really dislike how I am in 2 regular classes sophomore and junior year and how it will look on my transcript. Will this affect my chances of getting accepted?

Here are the colleges I am thinking to apply to so far:
Penn State (my first choice)
Binghamton
Stonybrook
Queens (safety)
Boston University
St. Johns (safety)

Thank you so much.

Your Aps are fine. The biggest problem I see with your schedule is the lack of physics. Its required, if not recommended, at many universities for admissions.
