AP Classes Junior Year? Too much?

Course selection is quickly approaching and this is what I’m planning on:

AP Latin
AP stats
AP language and composition
AP us history
AP chemistry or bio
Honors Precalculus
Honors Wind Ensemble

I’m not worried about doing well in the classes as I don’t think they will kill me, I’m just worried about the homework and out of class time I’ll need to spend on these classes. My extracurriculars are tennis, youth symphony, all-region/all state honor bands, other clubs etc.

I estimate you’ll spend about 6 hours after school on homework.

There will be a lot of homework. AP Bio and APUSH have a lot of notes and memorization you’ll have to do for tests. AP Language will require you to write multiple essays per week. AP Chem homework is manageable, but you’ll need to take a lot of time to independently study to make sure you understand the concepts. AP Stat and Honors Precalc should be okay, but will add up. I have no clue about AP Latin or Honors Wind Ensemble. Then again, it varies from school to school and from person to person, too. Get ready for a lot of all-nighters.

woahhhh… good luck buddy. At my school, people take at most 6 ap/honors courses and have 4-5 hours of HW a night on top of extracurricula. Good luck lol
