AP classes online? (Specifically world)

<p>I want to take an accredited AP world class online. I have to take regular world history -_-, but like my school offers AP World to freshman, but if I take AP World online and get credit for it, my guidance counselor might think that I actually got into AP World, then like... you know she'll write "very challenging" in the course list.</p>

<p>Alternatively, I can self-study for it, but wouldn't that be a worse option because in this way, I can get a pretty good GPA boost option and a AP World on my transcript! </p>

(Additionally, would it come out as like:</p>

<p>AP World- "Insert online school name here" or "Insert regular school name here" Grade: first semester: B+ or whatever</p>

<p>Accredited online courses are generally expensive, sometimes thousands of dollars. Check Stanford EPGY OHS; it’s one of the best online schools out there. Also, you should check with your counselor if the school would put online courses on your transcript. If they allow you to, then you probably can opt out of regular world history.</p>
