What AP classes is everyone taking this year? Are they considered easy or hard at your schools? How about next school year? Also what scores did you get on previous exams? Feel free to post your schedules here and interact with the community.
Also what do you guys think of AP Art History. Is it considered an easy class in your school, how much homework do you have in that class, how much time did you spend on studying for the AP exam, etc.
My freshman year I took the following and these are my opinions on them plus how much homework I got per day.
AP English Language and Composition: Difficult (2-3 hrs) I got a 4
AP Environmental Science: Easy (20-30 mins) I got a 5
AP Human Geography: Medium (30-45 mins) I got a 5
AP Art History: Easy (5-10 mins) I got a 5
I’m doing AP Human this year (sophomore) and self-studying Psych. AP Human has a reputation for being easy, and I’d say it is, but it’s a really good first AP class, and I’m actually enjoying it a lot. It’s a lot more interesting than I thought it would be! AP Human at my school is actually considered harder than AP Euro, because we get more homework and tests in general. I’m really behind in Psych though, I have a month to cover over 10 chapters, so we’ll see how that goes.
I don’t take Art History, and it’s not super popular at my school, but if you find it interesting go for it! Interesting classes always feel easier. Good luck!
This year I’m currently taking AP Environment and AP Human Geography. Both feel pretty nice to me, no struggle/ not tons of stress. Next year I’m taking AP Bio, Ap Psych, and AP World.
Cool guys! Thanks for responding to my post and giving suggestions.
I am taking:
US History (considered medium)
Microeconomics (considered medium)
Macroeconomics (considered easy)
English Language (considered medium)
Chemistry (considered hard)
Calculus AB (considered hard)
theinvokingssyndicate, AP Biology and AP World History are killers. AP Environmental Science and AP Human Geography are easy in my opinion. AP Psychology is pretty easy though.
am a freshman & currently taking ap world. it’s medium difficulty at our school - the class is me and all sophomores and i don’t know too many people having trouble w/ it, + apush and apeuro are said to be decently harder.
next year i’ll be taking ap calc bc, apush, and ap bio (+ probably self studying ap psych).
Here’s mine(difficulty doesnt include the workload, only the content)
Currently in my junior year I am taking:
AP Psychology (medium difficulty)
AP US History (medium difficulty)
AP Chemistry (extremely difficult even after receiving high A’s in both semesters of Honors Chemistry)
I have previously taken(10th grade)
AP World History (considered to be extremely difficult by many but I found it to be the easiest AP class ive taken. Got a 4 on the exam and received high A’s both semesters)
AP Physics 1 (conceptually difficult. got a 3 on the exam and an A both semesters)
Next year I am taking:
AP Physics C: Mechanics (generally difficult, but many people at my school say it’s easier than Physics 1)
AP Calculus BC (it’s supposedly common to do bad in the class and get a 5 on the AP exam at my school)
AP Statistics (considered to be extremely easy albeit with a huge workload)
AP United States Government and Politics (supposedly very easy)
AP Spanish Language (supposedly easy)
AP Macroeconomics (supposedly more difficult than APUSGov)
AP Lang (moderate difficulty)
I’m a freshman in AP Bio. It’s not super hard, but definitely not the easiest class I’ve ever taken. Next year I will take AP Chem and AP World (and possibly study for AP Psych). How are you guys studying for AP exams? I’m going through the both my school issued Pearson book to accompany Campbell and the Barron’s AP Bio book.
Side note: Can anyone find the multiple choice exams for 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 for AP Bio? I can’t find them anywhere. I just need MC because the FRQs are on the College Board site.
I’m currently a freshman and taking AP Human Geography. The content is easy at our school because we have a good teachers. I expect to get a 5 on the AP exam, but I’ll find out how I’m doing on the practice AP exam at our school. Also next year I’m for sure taking AP World History and AP Biology, and maybe AP Art History but I’m not sure yet.

I don’t think the College Board releases multiple choice exams on their website. However, try finding some website (e.g. google sites, weebly, etc) where there are pdf versions of possible past multiple choice exams. Based on my personal expierence, I found a google site for AP Human Geo which contained many practice quizzes, unit tests, resources, and practice multiple choice AP exams. Hope this helps and have a nice day
