AP Classes

What's a good number of AP classes to take that gets you into Columbia( And I know that Columbia doesn't have a number of AP classes required, but just wanted to know..)

I plan to take 9-10 since my school doesn't offer that many.

Is it a good number for Ivy League?

Sounds good to me. It really is a matter of what your school offers and demonstrating that you’re taking the most challenging courseload that you can, rather than a set number of APs.

Thank you! (:
And yes I always try to take most advanced class

How about Self-Studying AP?

There is no set number of APs, just take as many as you possibly can and still maintain an A average. Schools offer different amounts of AP classes, colleges just like to see that you take the hardest courseload available.

As to self-study: Yes. This shows colleges that you are willing to go above and beyond what your school offers.
