AP classes

Hey,

I am currently taking the IB diploma, and I want to take a few AP subjects.

My school doesn't offer any AP classes.

I'm considering taking AP English Language and AP Psychology.

My question to you is, for these specific subjects am I able to do self study?

P.S. I will be taking the tests at a different school.

Thanks

AP Psychology is an easy self study. If you have Barrons, you should be good to go. AP English depends on your ability to write. Not just any form of standardized writing, but really write and manipulate the audience. If you can do that, and have a good vocabulary, then AP English can be easy self study. It’s advised to read several works of literature for the AP Exam, like Heart of Darkness and Great Expectations. Cliifs AP English has lots of practice material, so you can get that if you’d like.
