I'm currently a junior. If I currently have 2 AP's planned for next year which are classes that I'm interested in and it involves my potential major, should I take more AP's just to look good even if they don't involve my major ? (Also, I don't care about GPA being raised)

You’re still in high school, so there’s no reason to only take classes that relate to your intended major. (Besides, taking AP classes that don’t relate to your major might allow you to get out of distribution requirements in college.) The “just to look good” thing is kind of off-putting, but it’s good to take challenging classes.

I’m freshie but taking APUSH next year. It’ll be interesting.
Remember that AP’s raise the weighted GPA, and colleges look at unweighted first. (usually)
and Ap’s are to challenge people. They are college courses after all. But if you get C’s then you should drop out…top places want high grades in hard classes.

Yeah, every high school weights GPA differently, so in general weighted GPA only matters for class rank.

How many aps have you taken so far?
