AP Classes

Please list these AP classes in order from the hardest to the easiest.

AP US History
AP Computer Science
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP Physics
AP Calculus BC
AP World History
AP Japanese
AP Spanish
AP English
AP Statistics

Hehe, thank you~

That doesn't work that way. It completely depends on what you're good at. GENERALLY though, I'd say AP Stats and AP Computer Science require less work. And their curves tend to be more lenient. APUSH and Physics are generally difficult for most people

Wow that's like one of those who wants to be a millionare questions. List the followin in order from hardest to easiest: haha ok Im sorry if im bieng a dumass but it's late and I havent gotten any sleep in the last three days...

This completely depends on the person. To me, the histories, English, government, and economics is much easier than any of the sciences.

I heard AP Computer Science is so very hard... true? more than AP US history?.. or is it easy?

I'm speaking in general.. like what your friends say...

It also really depends on the school; while the tests are standardized, the classes are not.

Wow, NONE of you can just say AP computer science is hard/easy. Ok, then base it on the AP Tests themselves..

AP Computer science is

To me...: (well the classes I TOOK)

AP Physics (<Didn't even have guts to take it)
AP Calculus BC (AHH this was a son of *****)
AP Chemistry (don't ask)
AP European history (too many stuff to cover and our teacher was evil)
AP Studio Art II (Well, I'm going to be an art major so its enjoyable.. yet hard. Lack of time...)
AP Biology (My teacher sucks, i don't learn anything... not hard, but just dumb)
Ap Government (because its so boring though)
AP US history (wasn't so hard.. but didn't score very well (i didn't fail but). That's because i missed around 2-3 months and didn't understand the beginning stuff... i should've studied more)
AP English Lit (Not so hard.. i got a 4 on the mock so i'm set)
AP Environmental Science (WOW this class is easy. I really love learning about the Earth though so I do enjoy it)

Well that's all i remember for now.

Wow, my question was mostly about AP Computer Science, you guys did very well, except that there's nothing about AP Computer Science. NIce.

Anything about AP Computer Science , PLEASE?

I dropped AP Calc BC and went to AB instead. AB is way easy, BC was way hard...wish there were an intermediate level between the two classes.

AP CompSci is pretty easy, IMO. In our compsci class last year, I barely studied at home at all (homework, reading, etc) and played a lot of games in class, and I got a 5 on the A test. However, some other students didn't even take the test at all. I guess my background in programming (learned about BASIC for a while, then VB) and logical reasoning helped me a lot.

Generally, for the other ones, in case you are interested:

In my opinion,

AP US History-hard, lots of stuff to memorize, lots of reading (from friends)
AP Computer Science-easy, see above
AP Biology-kinda easy, but still lots to memorize
AP Chemistry-okay, others say it's hard, but really it's memorization + logic
AP Physics-easy: not that much memorization at all, mostly logic and problem solving skill
AP Calculus BC-easy: i am self studying it and am finding the tests pretty reasonable
AP World History-not sure... same as APUSH?
AP Japanese-language.. hard
AP Spanish-again, language=hard
AP English-very difficult IMO because i just simply cant analyze..
AP Statistics-should be easy, math but easier than calc

Adcoms consider the following the most rigorous:

AP Sciences (Chem, Bio, Physics), Calc, Lit, Euro

^ where are you getting this info, bluebayou? it sounds good but... haha, just curious!

AP classes... really depends on your school + what subjects you're personally good at... I'm not gonna rank them because of that, but some of my personal experiences, lol.

AP US History - lots of memorization of dates + busy work... essays aren't so bad, if you have a decent knowledge of the US workings beforehand, shouldn't be too bad. But be prepared to read like 50+ pages a night or so...

AP Computer Science - I heard this class was a cakewalk if you're good at tech-y stuff, lol. I haven't personally taken it, but it's supposedly an easy class if you DO the work :)

AP Biology - CRAPLOAD of memorization + understanding of conceptual information. Labs, dissections... lots of work. If you're a slacker, don't take it.

AP Chemistry - Hehe, taking this now. I personally like this class because of my amaziiing teacher, but it is a lot of MATH work + backing it with some theory/conceptual stuff. But mostly math. However, it is a VERY DIFFICULT class, don't get me wrong... Make sure you've taken Alg II and are good with REGULAR Chem first of all... (you remember balancing equations? stoich? sig figs? polyatomic ions? conversions? those are the ABCs that you've got to know like SNAP)

AP Physics - I heard this was the hardest class in our school (or on par with BC Calc). I'm too scared to take it, lol... (not a physics person)

AP Calculus BC - Again, SUPER SUPER SUPER hard math course. Unless you're like AMAZING at math or AMAZINGLY hardworking + good at math... I don't advise taking it... I opted to switch out into AB Calc next year, but yeah like lewisloftus said - AB is too easy, BC is too hard. :(

AP World History - our school doesn't offer this course... however, I've taken AP European History, and that class was HELL for me. Even moreso then AP Chem, because our teacher plainly wasn't meant to be a teacher. And there was so much material to cover in such a short amount of time and the amount of work I had to put into all my essays + whatnot... UGH. LOTS of memorization of key concepts and make sure you know a "hazy" idea of the geographical locations of everything...

AP Japanese - school doesn't offer. I suppose it's easy if you're good at the language, bad if you're NOT... haha.

AP Spanish - easy as cake at our school :) However, I'm an AP French-ie, so I wouldn't really know.

AP English - I heard it wasn't difficult, but a lot of writing + VERY intensive during the first semester. However, if you're a good writer + analyzing really vague pieces of writing, this class will be a breeze...

AP Statistics - heard it was easy if you're good at numberwork + math :)

Thank you so much, your advise was great~!

why is ap euro hard?
