AP Classes

Anyone here gotten straight A's in all Honors or AP's? When you did, did you rank Boost like crazy? I know one student who gotten straight A's 2 times and boosted his rank 325 from 475 out of 1420 students. This ever happen, anyone you know? I find it crazy, how high you go, after all A's.

Umm, yeah I have. But I was always 1 or 2 or 3/500, so I didn't really boost too much.

I had the opposite happen to me. My Junior year I didn't take as many APs as some of the other kids in my class so my rank dropped 10 spots or so (not really bad in a class of 750, just a little bit of a wounded ego. XD)

ouch, 10 spots is actually critical. Was it in the 100's?

Here's my story:

Freshman year- Ranked in the 450s out of 750.

Sophomore year (straight As)- Ranked 35 out of 750.

Junior year- We'll wait and see. :)

^^^^ omg wow!!!!!!!

10 spots is not critical.

Yes it is, in the 100's ANDREEEAAAAAAAA

theres 750 students in her class. i dont get where 100 is coming from.

lol this is so stupid...obviously getting straight A's is going to boost your class rank. I've always been ranked 1st but w/e.

10 Percent in the 750.

............

My school doesn't weight, so rank used to be done stupidly, but now we only have Summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude honors. No vals or sals.

...............

lol my school is so competitive rank pretty much depends on how many online aps or community college classes u take. if u get straight As taking 5 aps junior year your rank will probably stay the same or go slightly down if ur top 1/2 percent i mean. I was number one last year because from freshman year and sophomore year combined i had 5 aps and 8 honors, but now in my junior year ill slip to number 4 or 5 because a few kids i know are taking 9 ap classes this year. pretty sick.

9 aps holy ****
