AP Classes

In my school there's only one AP class, World History, open to sophomores and I dropped it thinking I couldn't handle it. When I was doing my schedule for next year, I chose three AP classes: US History, Chem, and English Lit. (I think thats what its called). I thinking about it and I'm worried if I'm in over my head since I play two sports and in the research program at my school. Do you think three AP classes are reasonable for a junior.

3 AP’s are doable… i’d say no more than 4.
ush and english language are doable with studying and chem is good if you have a strong foundation.

Many people have done a lot more.

You certainly can handle it. Just console yourself with the fact that most juniors have sacrificed much of their free time to keep up with sports and academics.

I was thinking of holding off english lit. until senior year and just take honors english to make it easier. I’m always thinking in the long run (college at least) and I don’t want to fall behind the top students and not get into a good school.

Do you mean in GPA?

If you ever want to be truly intelligent, you will stop caring about your GPA and start learning for the sake of knowledge.

I don’t mean GPA, I’m mean being a better candidate for good college.

3 APs are all right, particularly those three…Depends on what you find hard/easy.

I had 2 as soph, 10 as junior, and taking 8 more as senior this year. So yes, it’s reasonable.

I’m sorry dude, but if you couldn’t handle AP World Hist, APUSH and AP-Chem are going to slap you in the faaccceeee.
