AP Bio - Everything from molecular bio to ecology(not too much of that). It covers a huge range of things, touching on several and going deeper into others. It’s a very challenging, fullfilling course with 12 required labs. As of workload, it depends on the school. For us it was mostly reading and taking notes. The exam is difficult but if you study you should definitley be okay.

^Since when does the AP bio exam require labs? I thought it was just you take the exam.

since I’ve taken it. There are 12 labs and a work book, they may ask about them in the free response, but yes, college board requires them.

Can you describe these labs?

well there are several which only take a class period or two, the only long grueling one is the fruit fly lab, in which you breed fruit flies and count them based on traits to figureout the genotypes of the parents.Other than that they are simple enough, there is one with dialysis bags and sugar solutions and one on respiration, one on photosynthesis and one with rollie pollies. They are not too bad
