AP Classes?

I am going into my junior year of high school in the fall and need help with AP Classes. I am definitely taking AP Chemistry, AP Bio, AP English 3&4, and AP Calculus. The trouble is where to place the sciences. AP English is 2 english classes (I have block scheduling) so I am free of English senior year. It is Comp & Lit. I am taking Calculus Honors junior year and then going into AP Calc Senior year, so that might make AP Calc a tad easier. Here is my schedule for the next two years:
1)Religion (mandatory)
2)US 1 Honors
3)Spanish 3 Honors
4)AP English 3
5)AP English 4
6)Calculus Honors
7)AP BIO or AP CHEM
8)AP BIO or AP CHEM

senior year
1)Science and Religion AP
2)AP Calculus
3)AP Calculus
4)US 2 Honors
5)AP BIO or AP CHEM
6)AP BIO or AP CHEM
7)Physics
8)free space (i'll fill it in, just not sure yet what class..)

I feel like if I take Bio junior year, then I don't have enough math, because I just have calculus but because of block scheduling I only take math in the spring and that's it..

On the other hand if I take Bio senior year it is the hardest class at my school, should I be taking that with AP Calc? Or will AP Calc not be as hard because I'm taking Calculus first? I am a very strong math student, but idk.

AP Chem is not awfully hard at my school, Bio is the opposite spectrum. I have an easier time getting a high grade in bio than in chem.

I have already taken 2 years of honors bio, 1 year of honors chem, and 5 years of honors math. I have not taken physics yet..

How good of a teacher is your AP Calculus teacher, and are you taking AB or BC? For me, calculus was not that hard of a class and we did not have a good teacher. I also took AP Chemistry this year and it involves more math than Bio does.

I understand block scheduling, I just don’t understand which of your classes you are taking first semester and which classes you are taking second semester. This is probably because we don’t use block scheduling at our school.

My AP Calc teacher is awesome (supposedly) and I will be having her for Honors calculus junior year as well, so I’ll get used to her teaching style.

I was thinking about taking AP Chem junior year because I have hardly any math, and there really isn’t much math in AP Bio aside from Hardy-Weinberg problems…

My schedule for junior year would be:
First Semester
1)AP English 3
2)AP Bio or AP Chem
3)Religion
4)US 1 Honors

Second Semester
1)AP English 4
2)AP Bio2 or AP Chem2
3)Spanish 3 Honors
4) Calculus Honors

Unfortunately its sort of unbalanced, but its how the classes work out, I can’t pick when I want to have them…

“I am free of English senior year”
Our state requires English to be taken every year. If a student were to complete all available English courses at the HS before senior year, then he/she’d have to go to a college to take it.

I’m just offering this tidbit as a public service announcement - be sure to check your state’s specific requirements so that you don’t find yourself in a predicament just before graduation.
