I’m headed to the College of Engineering at Berkeley for the fall term (Fall 2017).

Should I waive classes using AP/College Credits?

My main considerations for waiving classes are:

AP Chemistry, in which I received solid A’s both semesters and got a 5 on the AP test
and
Math 150A/B at a local Cal State University (equivalent to AP Calculus BC), in which I earned solid A’s both semesters.

I’ve been thinking that I should just retake them because they’re foundational classes, and since I’ve taken them already they should be a little easier, making it easier for me to get a good GPA freshman year.

Thoughts? I’d appreciate any input.
