AP Comp Sci A?!

Hi, guys. Alright, I have a bit of a predicament. My schedule next year (as a sophomore) was supposed to be:

ODD DAYS
Algebra II Honors (0)
Honors English II (1)
AP Euro (3)
Spanish III (5)

EVEN DAYS
Algebra II Honors (0)
AP Comp Sci A (2)
ASB (4)
Cross Country PE (6)

But, now I've talked to people who have taken AP Comp Sci, and they're kind of scaring me out of it. Everyone has been talking about how hard it is to get an "A" and how many people drop it. The thing is, if I want to take Comp Sci, I have to "waiver" into the class, 'cause I got a B in one semester of math last year, and if I "waiver" in, I can't drop it. I'm rethinking taking Comp Sci, not only because of that, but because without it, I could have a regular six period day like most of the people at my school do. Also, AP Euro is supposed to be a lot of work, and I've never taken Honors math before, but I feel like if I decide not to take Comp Sci, it might hurt me later on... Anyway, to take or not to take?!

Thanks if you read all this! :)

imo you should always try to take the hardest courseload possible. I always regret not taking more APs in sophmore year =[

Heck, they told me the same thing last year. It is not a breeze-through class, but at the same time it doesn't compare the slightest to AP Physics/ Calc.

Those people that told me were hard did not read the book and take notes on it. I pretty much studied straight from the book and got practice on programming in class.

I got a 4 even though our teacher never mentioned the AP exam once in his class. I pretty much had to prepare by myself.
