AP Comp Sci AB Self Study?

Hi,
I'm curious if anyone has done this before? I'm relatively proficient with computers and I have some basic java experience - although I don't remember much if it and none of it was hard stuff or OOP...

How much studying did you guys do to get a 5? What books? Good websites/Online notes?

Barron's and Litvin

Did you self study? And how good is PR? I've been flipping through it lately.

hey, I am self studying AP CS AB as well! I think I probably have about as much experience as you...I am okay in computers, have done some programming in Visual Basic and have started some Java, but never really OOP.

The messages at <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=108730%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=108730</a> and at <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=106280%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=106280</a> might help.

I've decided to use barrons, I think, to review...also I have some ebooks (learn java in 21 days and java data structures). I will probably get a textbook but I'm not sure what to get yet...I know there are some books (fundamentals of java, I think?) that are specifically oriented towards the AP exam.
